Karen A. Connolly was born and raised in the United
Kingdom. She came to the United States in 1983 on an athletic scholarship and obtained her undergraduate education at the University of Arizona obtaining her bachelors degree in 1988. Ms. Connolly obtained her Juris Doctorate in 1991. For 16 years, Ms. Connolly has been practicing primarily in the areas of criminal defense, family law and personal injury. She has argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of appeals and the Nevada Supreme Court. Ms. Connolly has conducted numerous trials. Her acquittals have included murder, kidnapping, drug and sexual assault cases, to name a few. In 2006, Ms. Connolly successfully secured the removal of one of her clients from death row. The year prior thereto she successfully argued before the Nevada Supreme Court to have a quadruple homicide conviction reversed. Additionally, she has represented hundreds of people in family court. |
